My Whole 30 Journey

Hey everyone! I’ve been MIA for a bit. I’ve been taking time to reconnect with myself. Getting healthy and really being with family. I joined a group of amazing moms for a class one day and it’s been pretty amazing. Working out 3 or more days a week cross-fit style and making friends is good for this mamma’s soul. We’ve been working out together for about 5 months now and it’s time to step it up a notch in order to really make a change in our lives. We’ve all agreed to do the Whole 30 program together. We are all doing it to fit our personal lifestyles so you’ll see no tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms or melon on my list. I’m not a fan, LOL! I’m extremely nervous , but excited about this journey. I will share my weekly menu with shopping list and recipes here for you. I hope you think about giving it a try too. Thank you for joining me on my…

I use all organic ingredients if possible. Places I love to shop to keep the cost down are Mariano’s, Costco and Trader Joes. Yes I shop all three, because I know for a fact that sweet potatoes are best at TJ’s, Lots of Larabar choices and fruit at Mariano’s and meat including organic chicken and beef from Costco are worth it.

Please remember I am not a dietitian or a nutritionist. My Whole 30 journey has been tailored to me and my families likes and dislikes. Feel free to use my items as a jumping off point. It always helps to see what others have done for sure. Let’s do it! My first menu is below for you. You should be able to click the photo and open it in a new page. Print fit to page and take them shopping with you. Here is the link to the actual Whole 30 program also. Please check it out HERE.  I know there are flaws in my plan also so please don’t judge me too harshly. I’m a beginner and just want to share with others who are thinking about this plan.
