Pirate goodie bag DIY

Today it was time to get a little dirty and play around with the SRM stenciling material. It cut easy, adhered perfectly to stay in place and vwa la! I used it to create some awesome pirate party goody bags for my boys upcoming birthday party. It was very easy and so fast you’ll never believe it. I tried it on both the burlap bags and the muslin bags. I like the burlap a little better for the party, but {Read More}

Graduation season is upon us!

I have to tell you that the cards I’m sharing today are some of my favorites ever. I’m not sure if it’s the gold mist, the ribbon or the fun stickers that made creating these cards so easy. Check these out and let me know what you think.  I used a fun notebook border punch along with some wood veneer stars. It all came together very easily and ended so great. You can get more detailed instructions over on the {Read More}

It’s all about the HUNT!

Well not really. To us as a Catholic Family Easter is so much more. It’s about new beginnings and fresh starts in faith and life. I just love the feeling of Spring and the meaning of Easter all wrapped up in one. We do do the traditional Easter egg hunting for the kids and they just love it. We hide both fake filled eggs and hard boiled. My kids love them both equally. They’re so weird, HA! I’ve created a {Read More}

BIrthday season is upon me

I don’t know about your guys, but it seems like after Winter Break there are a crazy amount of birthday parties. My daughter is a January baby along with like 1,578 of her friends too! We’ve managed to scale down the cost of presents by getting a little creative. I do things like gather art supplies, or use coupons, but sometimes kids are specific in what they want. We have a couple friends that are saving up for something big from {Read More}

Advent DIY canvas

Welcome to Any Occasion! Today I’m sharing how I created our families advent calendar this year. In the past I’ve done a mailbox, brown paper bags or a little decorated drawer. This year I wanted to down size the hanger style advent calendar. I searched for lots of ideas, but nothing struck me until I was looking around my studio looking for pieces I could use. I had this 16×20 canvas…YES! I’ve wanted to put paint on it for a {Read More}
