May Arts Design Team challenge

The May Arts Design Team is taking a challenge. The Ribbon Lady had a vote over on the May Arts Pinterest page. It was fun to see some other inspiring projects. I am also so happy to be getting in the Spring mood. Take a look at our inspiration piece. What a pretty floral canvas!  I took a look at this and had to really think. I don’t usually use lots of floral in my crafting so I looked at {Read More}

Art-C mini pallet fridge project

Hey there crafters! I’ve been sharing lots of photography with you lately so I thought I’d dig into this box I got a while back from Art-C and Momenta. I was so thrilled when I opened it and inside there were these tiny pallets! If you know me or follow me on Instagram you know that I love creating signs from pallets and have some for sale in the shop as well. In the box Art-C also sent some small {Read More}

Back to school

I’m excited to share a fun little idea for back to school. Getting kids ready can be rough in the morning. Head over to the Tombow blog to see the whole project.  It only takes a few items and a little imagination. Here’s a little peek at what we’re making. Happy crafting!

Blitsy Crafts and Crafts night giveaway!

I got to attend a local blogger event last week at Blitsy! It was called Blitsy crafts and crafts. I love this place. It is not only an awesome space to be in, but the people are pretty darned amazing. Family oriented and super cool and chill. My sweet friend Nubia attended with me and we had a blast crafting on some cork coasters and chatting it up with new friends. Blitsy is so awesome that they are giving me {Read More}

Remake it and make it gorgeous

This is a BIG DIY post. I’ve been loving working on projects with our move and this one was something I had in mind for a VERY long time. We got this amazing buffet from my Aunt in law. It’s an old piece that I just couldn’t pass up plus we needed something to store out China in after we got married. It worked beautifully in out first home. Now that we’ve moved we have a more open space with {Read More}

Tombow Round 2!!!

Ok, let me first say that I’m thrilled to be a finalist! I took more time that I should have trying to think of a project that was season appropriate, DIY and would make a great tutorial. I went with a Christmas themed fabric wrapped monogram. We were to use the Tombow XTREME permanent adhesive. What’s it perfect for: Fabric paper wood veneer burlap and so much more.  I toyed with doing a birch wrapped candle set, a lamp shade {Read More}

DIY party styling

I got to help plan and host a fun and colorful baby shower for my little sister a couple months ago. It was so incredible fun and I truly got my craft on while making everything. I’m not going to go into super duper detail about each piece, but please if you have a question on something leave a comment and I’ll get back to you asap.  Let’s take a look!  I created menu type cards for each table whether {Read More}

More candy PLEASE!

Happy Halloween week. Today I’m sharing a layout I create quite a while ago using Glitz Designs Halloween paper collection. I cut the patterned paper up to create the arrows to bring attention to the photo. My little guy was a ninja turtle last year and the orange worked perfectly with this collection.  More details about this layout: I typed my journaling onto white cardstock in order to place it on the layout. I then gave it a quick straight {Read More}
